Three days that rewire how you think about what comes next

Conferencia brings founders, researchers, designers and policy makers into one room — four stages, sixty sessions and the kind of hallway conversations that turn into companies.

Three years running

Why Conferencia

A gathering built for the people who move industries forward

We keep the room deliberately small, the stages deliberately varied, and the schedule deliberately open — so the value lands in the conversations, not only the slides.

To put practitioners on stage instead of pitch decks — every talk comes from someone who shipped the thing they are describing.

A conference circuit where access is not a function of budget: half of our seats are reserved for students, researchers and non-profits.

No session runs longer than forty minutes, no stage is more than a two-minute walk away, and every recording is online within 48 hours.

Programme

Three days, four stages, one carefully built agenda

What you gain

Every detail engineered so your three days actually pay off

Practitioners only on stage

Every speaker has shipped, published or governed the thing they are talking about. We check.

Matchmaking that is not spam

Opt in once and get five curated introductions — never a delegate list sold to sponsors.

Recordings within 48 hours

Captioned, chaptered and free for every attendee — so you can skip a session without losing it.

Tracks are staggered so no two sessions you want ever start at the same minute.

Our team reads every profile and hand-matches you with five people worth meeting.

Speakers publish their sources. You leave with the references, not just the takeaways.

Accessibility is budgeted first, not retrofitted once the sponsors are confirmed.

How it works

The production craft behind every Conferencia moment

Curated programming

Nine hundred proposals reviewed blind by a rotating committee of forty practitioners.

Broadcast-grade streaming

Four simultaneous feeds, live captions and a remote Q&A queue that moderators actually read.

Venue and travel logistics

Negotiated hotel rates, a step-free route map and shuttles running every fifteen minutes.

Published post-event data

Attendance, diversity and satisfaction numbers go public every year — including the bad ones.

The room is the reason people come back

“I came for one keynote and left with two collaborators and a research partner. The roundtables are worth the ticket on their own.”

“The only conference where I never felt sold to. Sessions start on time, end on time, and the recordings arrive before I'm home.”

“Our whole team attends on the group rate. It is the one line in the budget nobody argues about any more.”

“As a wheelchair user I usually plan around a venue. Here the venue was planned around me. That is rarer than it should be.”

Everything worth knowing before you book

Book a pass, pick your track preferences, and your badge QR arrives by email. Nothing is printed until you arrive, and name changes stay free until 1 November.

The Congress Quarter, twelve minutes by tram from the central station. Shuttles run every fifteen minutes and every route into the building is step-free.

Yes for every stage session. Labs and roundtables are capped, so those need a booking in the app — but cancellations are released back to the queue automatically.

All four stages stream live with captions in English, Arabic and German, and remote delegates get their own moderated Q&A queue rather than a read-only chat.

Full refund up to thirty days before the opening keynote, and a transferable credit after that. Scholarship tickets are never charged a cancellation fee.
