Nexiversity opened in 1998 with four faculties and a stubborn idea: that undergraduates should be trusted with real work from the first term. Six faculties later, that has not changed.
Five years of studio, ending in a thesis building defended in public.
Studio is the spine of the degree: every technical and historical module exists to serve the work on the drawing board. The studios are open twenty-four hours.
The fifth-year thesis is exhibited publicly and reviewed by an external panel of practising architects.
