Why negative results matter here
Confinement physics is where optimism hides. A published failed shot lets other groups rule out a configuration without spending two years rediscovering it.
Net energy remains distant, and nothing in this shift changes that timeline. What changed is that outside physicists can now audit the claims.
A field that only publishes wins is not a field yet.
