An independent summit, run at cost plus a little
Evenzex started as ninety people in a rented lecture hall in Kreuzberg. Eighteen years later it fills Hall 7 at Messe Berlin, and the rules have not changed: practitioners on stage, no pay-to-speak, and a schedule you can actually walk.
We are a team of eleven, funded by ticket sales and eight partners who accept that they do not choose the programme. Any surplus goes into the student allocation for the following year.

Practitioners only
Every talk comes from someone who built the thing they are describing. Vendor pitches go in the expo hall, not on stage.
Forty minutes, hard stop
No session runs longer. It forces speakers to cut the throat-clearing and gives you time to move between stages.
Half the seats are held
Students, researchers and non-profits get 40% off and a guaranteed allocation. Access should not be a budget question.
Online in 48 hours
Every stage recording is published within two days, captioned in three languages, free for anyone to watch.
Food that is actually food
Lunch, coffee and an afternoon break are in every pass. Nobody negotiates a hallway conversation on an empty stomach.
